Verizon wanted to make things like paying your bill or monitoring data simple and easy to avoid people calling customer service and seeking help in stores. With five designated groups of creatives, designers, UX, and PMs – we created an app that was actually easy and fun to use. I worked across multiple teams to develop copy for the interface, content, marketing, and features of the app. I also helped develop a short intro video for the app (below).

Deconstructing the Better Network - In-Store Digital Wall for the Chicago Flagship Verizon Store

Concept, Copy

The insight was simple: the promise of the digital world is a promise of connectivity; nothing works in isolation, but rather everything is part of a much bigger interconnected universe. We had the idea to reveal the multiple inner worlds and bigger experiences that a product can deliver when connected to "A Better Network." To show that, we'll deconstruct headphones, a fitness band, and a connected-home device to expose a collection of digital interconnected worlds that depict the services and benefits of speed, capacity, reliability and coverage of the Verizon Network.

The digital wall is three stories high with a resolution of 1024w x 3584 h on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Below are visual representations of our concept illustrated by the talented creative group at Roof Studio.
